Description
The Sporlan Controls 168012 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) Body regulates refrigerant flow into a compatible evaporator through its internal metering passage. Its Q Style construction provides the valve body arrangement for integrating with the corresponding thermostatic expansion valve components, while the 1/4″ x 3/8″ connections allow for compatible refrigerant tubing. The valve body installs at the evaporator inlet with the refrigerant connections properly secured and the sensing components arranged according to the equipment configuration in HVAC systems. This metering assembly supports controlled refrigerant distribution, proper evaporator operation, and consistent heat absorption as cooling load and refrigerant conditions change during normal operation.
