Description
The Spirax-Sarco 54532C TD52 is a one-inch stainless steel thermodynamic steam trap intended for use in high-pressure steam systems. It functions by trapping steam and automatically releasing condensate, which is water created from steam. To discharge cold condensate and air during operation, a disc inside the trap opens. When hot condensate flashes into steam, a low-pressure zone is created, which draws the disc shut. By eliminating water hammering and ensuring near-steam temperature condensate removal, this cycle maximizes system efficiency. These traps are frequently found in a variety of HVAC devices that use steam, including laundry machines, boilers, and sterilizers.
