Description
The Resideo S87C1006 Direct Spark Ignition Control is a low voltage solid state control unit for gas fired heaters and heating equipment. This ignition control unit is a self-illuminating mechanism that guarantees optimum performance by lighting natural gas or LPG the moment it is turned on and does not require a pilot light. It has a 6 second lockout time which prevents any unsafe situation in case of failure to ignite, and at the same time gives a fast response. It is equipped with a two-in one igniter-sensor rod that ignites the gas and also senses the flame to guarantee reliability. This integration proves useful also in as much as it brings about reduction in the total system components hence enhancing system reliability and ease of maintenance.
