Description
The MARS 11966 Round Start Capacitor is used to assist in the start of compressors and motors through a high burst of electrical current to produce initial torque in the HVAC systems. It contains a capacitance of 145 to 175 Microfarads and has a current of 330 volts and releases and receives charge to aid in the winding of the motor during its first operation. This is used together with the relay or contactor to improve the working of the starting and also occurs in the cooling and heating of the air conditioners, heat pumps and other equipment.
