The International Comfort Products 1174451 Thermal Expansion Valve is manufactured to serve R-22 refrigerant application which is widely used in cooling and heating systems such as air conditioning and heat pump. This one sets the amount of coolant that must get to the evaporator coil to achieve the right pressure and temperature for the duty of cooling.
