Description
The Honeywell 14004904-002 2.5″ Receiver Gauge is used to measure temperature in HVAC systems with high precision. This small gauge has a diameter of 2.5 inches and is able to measure temperatures as low as 0°F and as high as 200°F, all with an accuracy of about ±2%. Its functionality depends on the pressure which is inside the gauge and the changes in temperature of the HVAC system are directly proportional to the pressure changes inside the gauge. This pressure change is then translated into a visual presentation on the face of the gauge, giving a direct measurement of the temperature of the system.
