Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 064018 Thermal Expansion Valve is a refrigerant metering unit used to regulate the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil based on pressure and temperature conditions in HVAC systems. It has a 7/8″ × 1‑1/8″ ODF and uses TRAE20HW904A 15F to continuously adjust flow to match cooling demand, supporting efficient heat exchange and preventing coil flooding. It is used in air conditioning units, heat pumps, and similar refrigeration circuits. It works with the compressor, evaporator, and associated piping to maintain system balance in the system.
