Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 062963 Suction Filter is used to protect the HVAC system from being damaged by contaminants in the system. It has a 7/8” SWT connection and operates through the removal of contaminants such as dirt, rust, and scale from the system suction line. This assists in achieving better system performance, achieving high energy efficiency, and also enhancing the operational life of the major system components such as compressors and heat exchangers. This suction filter is widely applied to refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps, and other HVAC systems. As the contaminants do not get a chance to enter the compressor, there is less damage, a reduced likelihood of experiencing major mechanical failure, and ultimately better system efficiency.
