Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 057354 HFES 8HW100 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a high-capacity component suitable for use in mid to large capacity refrigeration and air conditioning applications. This TXV is of 5/8” and 7/8” ODF Outside Diameter Flare connection type and is from the HFES series which suggests that it is a high flow type for high demand applications. It regulates the amount of liquid refrigerant that enters the evaporator and does this by generating a signal proportional to the temperature of the refrigerant.
