Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 056766 9.5-Ton 2-Way Solenoid Valve is essential for use with R22 refrigerant in large-scale commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This valve is opened or closed by altering a magnetic field through an electromagnetic coil to vary the passage area of the valve. In an energized state, the coil moves a plunger or a poppet to open the passage for the refrigerant to pass through. When the valve is de-energized the control valve closes therefore refrigerant flow is stopped. This high level of control is necessary for achieving maximum system performance and energy utilization across numerous applications such as commercial refrigeration, industrial chillers, and process cooling.
