Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 056039 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) XB-1019HCA-1B is an essential element used in refrigeration and HVAC systems intended for R-22 refrigerant. This TXV with a 5-foot capillary tube regulates the amount of liquid refrigerant to be admitted into the evaporator. It mechanically feels the temperature in the evaporator and then adjusts the opening of the valve to allow appropriate refrigerant flow.
