Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 055927 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a refrigerant control component for R22 systems featuring 3/8″ x 1/2″ ODF connections with a 5-foot capillary tube and HFE charge. It regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator by responding to temperature changes, maintaining proper superheat during HVAC system operation. Commonly used in residential and commercial the valve assists control cooling performance and refrigerant distribution. As a metering part within the system, it works alongside the evaporator, compressor and condenser to support balanced and reliable operation.
