Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 047514 Solenoid Valve W/O Coil is a two-port component that controls the movement of refrigerant through a designated line. Its normally closed configuration keeps the internal passage shut until an electrical command activates the associated coil. The valve body uses 1/2-inch ODF and 5/8-inch ODM connections for integration with aligned copper tubing. In refrigeration and air conditioning applications of HVAC systems, it can regulate refrigerant delivery to selected sections of the circuit during different control conditions. As supplied without the coil, an actuator must be paired with the valve to enable electrical opening and closing.
