Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 028030 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a 1-1/8” X1-1/8” ODM Angle Valve applicable to refrigeration systems, air conditioning HVAC systems, and heat pumps. It controls the amount of refrigerant which reaches the evaporator to assurance adequate cooling or heating. It operates based on the temperature differential of the evaporator and the refrigerant by use of the TXV. This information is used to accurately regulate the flow of refrigerant and the following advantages include enhanced energy efficiency, less damage on the compressor and better temperature regulation.
