Description
The DiversiTech 37050H is an Oval Shaped Run Capacitor for HVAC applications such as air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Its capacitance is 5 microfarads and the voltage rating is 370V. It can be described as a device that assists in the start and operation of the compressor motor of an HVAC unit. While using the air conditioner or refrigerator, the compressor motor, which has to turn the refrigerator fluid, experiences a period of inertia it needs a kind of kick start. The run capacitor holds an electrical charge and then supplies this charge to the motor at start-up to get things moving more easily.
