Description
The Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 097456 Oil Pressure Safety Control is a vital part of protecting HVAC systems. It checks the oil pressure inside the system and automatically shuts after reaching a certain unsafe level. This is because lack of lubrication may cause damage on the compressor as well as other delicate parts ot the machinery. This safety control comes with an SPDT switch and a manual reset mechanism to give the user the better experience. It has a time delay of 20-150 seconds, which prevents unnecessary shutdowns while providing protection on time. The pressure range is adjustable between 4-65 PSI to accommodate different HVAC systems to increase system dependability and durability.
