The Conbraco Industries 19-KGFA-125 is a 1.25-inch by 1.5-inch steam trap suitable for use in a variety of steam systems. It contributes significantly to system efficiency and corrosion prevention by automatically eliminating condensation from water lines whilst preventing the departure of live steam.The trap works with a floating mechanism that rises in response to condensate buildup, opening a discharge valve.The open valve allows the accumulated condensate to drain from the system via a discharge pipe.The float mechanism resets and the valve closes to stop live steam from escaping when the condensate level drops.Condensate can build up in pipes and decrease heat transfer efficiency; this can be avoided by removing it.
