Description
The ASCO 8342G1 is a four-way 1/4-inch solenoid valve that controls air, water, and light oil. This solenoid coil-driven electromagnetically actuated valve opens and closes internal channels to control fluid flow within a system. Its brass body design and NBR seals provide compatibility with a wide range of fluids and environments, which makes it appropriate for a wide range of HVAC equipment applications, including industrial automation setups, refrigeration systems, and air conditioners. The 8342G1 has operating pressure ratings of 125 psi for air and 100 psi for light water and oil. The solenoid coil creates a specific flow channel by activating a plunger and moving internal components when it is electrified. The process is reversed and the flow direction is changed when the coil is de-energized.
