Description
The ASCO 8221G7HW Slow Close Solenoid Valve is a fluid control equipment that is used to regulate the on and off flow of a piping system, and operates in normally closed mode with a 1″ NPT connection. It utilizes an electromagnetic coil and a slow-closing mechanism to reduce water hammer and regulate the movement of the fluid up to 150 PSI and 210 F and in HVAC systems like hydronic heating and chilled water loops, it assists in control the flow to a valve, pump or heat exchanger. It is installed in line with supply or return piping.
