Description
The ASCO 8221G3 1/2” N/C Solenoid Valve is a normally closed valve that is used for slow flow control of water in HVAC systems. This valve works in a pressure of 5-150 PSI and temperature of up to 212°F and is powered by 120V electricity making it appropriate for use in heating and cooling systems. It is widely used in systems where a high precision of the control of the flow of the fluids is required, for example in air conditioning and heating systems to enhance the energy efficiency of the systems. The benefits of the system are that there is less wear than in mechanical valves, it is fast and the flow can be automated.
