Description
The ASCO 238710-032-D Solenoid Valve Coil is a component of an electrical actuator used to operate valves found in fluid and refrigerant control systems of HVAC systems. Its main work is to generate a magnetic field when powered by 110 VDC, which causes the control plunger to open, or close the flow path. The electromagnetic mechanism in the coil enables the coil to respond quickly to control signals. It is done by putting the coil over the stem of the actuator and connecting, it to the solenoid assembly with the correct electrical connections.
