Description
The A.J. Antunes 8024204046 SMD Air Pressure Switch is in HVAC Systems as it is a pressure switch to control and measure airflow in refrigeration equipment. This is done through pressure differential across a particular point of the system being sensed. When the pressure coming into it drops below a fixed value, the switch turns ‘on’ thereby producing a warning alarm or turn off the refrigeration appliances to protect them from damage and for efficiency. This avoids conditions such as evaporator icing or compressor overheating, none of which are desirable for extending the refrigera- tion system’s efficiency. Through correct measurement of air pressure, the switch increases the dependability of the system, optimizes power consumption and protects equipment and stocks.
