The A1220 Aluminium loft ladder from Midmade is one of our higher end loft ladder models. The LUX A1220 is a stylish and high performance aluminium loft ladder, which comes with a white moulded compound hatch.
The A1220 is in three sections and folds so the ladder lies on the trapdoor which is fitted within the frames casting. Each section of the ladder has 4 treads which are 237 mm apart. The loft hatch has 50 mm of insulation and is supplied ready to fit. The frame of the loft hatch has a gas spring struts which is used when opening and closing the hatch. The ladder design alongside the moulded hatch makes the whole unit a beautiful addition to most modern homes.
This high performance aluminium loft ladder is ideal for commercial due to its steel liner which is fire proof for at least 60 minutes. The ladder systems are fully lockable if required with an ASSA 565 lock case, and they are available with aluminium 3-part or 4-part folding ladders and also with a concertina ladder where required. The systems feature a U-Value of just 0.61 to offer excellent thermal insulation.
