The ASCO 8215B50-24V 1” N/C Solenoid Valve is an electromechanical valve used in HVAC systems, mainly used in those applications where accurate shut off is required. This is normally a closed valve that works under pressure between 0-25 PSI and it is powered by 24V with brass body and stainless steel trim to ensure that it is not easily corroded. When activated, the solenoid lifts a plunger to enable the flow of fluid while when deactivated it closes the orifice to prevent the flow of the fluid enhancing safety. It is well suited for use in heating, cooling and refrigeration systems since it increases the system’s dependability by eliminating leakage.
