Description
The MARS 11092 Motor Start Capacitor is an electrical component unit with a capacitance range of 135 to 162 microfarads and a 330-volt AC rating, for delivering a high inrush energy to improve during motor initiation. It stores electrical charge in a dielectric structure and releases it rapidly when voltage is applied, generating the torque required for compressor and fan motor startup. Placed in the starting circuit where short-duration power demand is highest in HVAC systems. The voltage rating defines the electrical overload the unit can withstand during operation without internal breakdown.
