Description
The Resideo S87B1008 Direct Spark Ignition Control is a low-voltage, solid-state ignition control module suitable for use in gas-fired furnaces, boilers, and heating appliances. This highly flexible ignition module is designed to deliver ignition directly at the burner with no need for a pilot light. A lockout timing of 6 seconds is however incorporated in the device hence safely disengaging power in case it does not achieve ignition within six seconds. Working at 25 VAC, the S87B1008 can safely work in various climate conditions ranging from -40°F to 175°F. The control is designed for dual igniter-sensor rods and can be used with both natural gas and LPG, thus allowing for fuel-type changes.
