The Watts 0770180 1/2” Standard Duty Mechanical Float Valve ST500 is an efficient part that regulates water levels. The model comes with a bronze construction and a connection size of 1/2 inch. The float valve works under the principles of a hydraulic system in which a float is provided on the top end of a valve to check the level of a liquid in a tank or reservoir. When the water level increases, the float is also lifted which pull another chain that turn of the water supply utility. Any time the level of water in the container reduces the float drops to allow inflow of water through the valve for HVAC systems.
