The Resideo Q3400A1016 Igniter Flame Rod Assembly is an essential part of gas-fired heating systems that is designed and built exclusively for application with Heat Surface Pilot Burner. This one is 24” in length and integrates the igniter and flame rod to provide consistent ignition and flame sensing. This assembly is used in furnaces and boilers to ensure ignition source and safety by ensuring correct flame detection and is compatible with Resideo’s SV9500 and SV9600 gas valve systems. The igniter begins the burning process, but the flame rod aways checks whether a flame is burning, so that the gas valve stays open only when a flame is burning.
