The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 064990 7/8”SWT Check Valve, ACK-14 is a check valve that plays an essential role in avoiding backflow in pipe systems. This valve works in a manner in which; initially it opens for the fluid permit to flow in a certain direction with the special feature of closure when reach an opposite direction is intended, to facilitate efficient and safe operation of a system. Due to its 7/8” sweat connection it can be used in a wide range of HVAC applications especially in refrigeration and air conditioning. Advantages are increased system stability, lower contamination possibility, and modularity due to the compact size.
