Description
The Honeywell LP916B1074 is a pneumatic return air thermostat that allows for proportional management of heating systems with two-pipe, single-temperature units. This senses the temperature of the air returning from your living area and maintains a comfortable range between 65°F and 85°F. This thermostat operates by sending a signal to a damper actuator or pneumatic valve based on the temperature it has detected. The thermostat opens the valve or damper to let more hot air circulate through the system and raise the temperature when the room temperature drops below the preferred level. From the opposite direction, the valve or damper closes when the temperature climbs above the preset, limiting the passage of hot air and averting overheating.
