Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 063811 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is used for the HVAC system. This TXV regulates the amount of refrigerant that passes through it by the use of the evaporator temperature. By controlling refrigerant flow, it has the role of preventing the liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor, which improves the compressor’s performance and reduces its damage as well. Its model has a 1/2” x 1/2” connection which is suitable for all kinds of HVAC equipment such as residential and commercial air conditioners, refrigerators, and freezers.
