Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 048216 filter drier is an essential for the operation of HVAC systems with certain refrigerant circuits, intended to make them last longer. This filter drier has a 3/4” ODF connection size and contains a combination of desiccants 75% molecular sieve and 25% activated alumina to improve the efficiency of removing moisture and acid from the refrigerant improving system reliability. The maximum pressure for the below system is 680 psig and the final outlet pad of this filter can filter particles up to 20 MICRON size which is required to protect the compressor and other sensitive parts from particle contamination.
