Description
The Resideo DP2030A1004 is a 2-pole, 30 amp contactor designed for switching electrical currents in HVAC systems. It uses a coil activated by a 24-volt signal to open and close contacts, essentially acting as a heavy-duty switch. This allows the DP2030A1004 to control components like compressors and motors. The contactor’s compact size (3.63 inches wide x 3.35 inches high x 2.45 inches deep) makes it suitable for tight spaces within HVAC units. It’s built to withstand a wide range of temperatures (-40°F to 149°F) and operates at both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies, making it adaptable to various applications. Being an economy model, the DP2030A1004 offers a cost-effective solution for HVAC systems. While there might be more feature-rich contactors available, the DP2030A1004 strikes a balance between affordability and reliable performance for basic on/off switching tasks.
