Description
The ASCO 8262H21V 1/4” Normally Closed Solenoid Valve is used to control air, water, and light oil in HVAC systems. It operates at an air pressure of up to 500 PSI and can pump water up to 350 PSI and oil up to 270 PSI making it suitable for any media. The valve works through an electromagnetic coil that either moves a plunger and, therefore, opens or closes the valve orifice if energized or de-energized respectively to control the flow of fluids effectively. This valve is advantageous in automated systems since no human input will be required making the operations efficient and at the same time cutting on cost of labor.
