Description
The Lennox 10P26 thermocouple is safety device in gas-fired heating and cooling equipment such as furnaces and boilers. It helps to sense temperature, to alter temperature changes into a small voltage signal. It is then transmitted to the valve for gas control which can be considered as a thermostat of the system. This way with the thermocouple reading the fluctuation in temperature the flow of the gas is also controlled. If the temperature a safe level the voltage signal to the valve cuts or minimizes the gas supply to stay away from overheating and system damage making it a compact addition to HVAC systems The current model is a universal thermocouple with a 30mV output, suitable for most gas-fired furnaces and boilers.
