Description
The Resideo R8222N1011 Pilot Duty Switching Relay is triggered by a low voltage signal, typically 24V from a thermostat or control system, to toggle the high voltage circuit in HVAC systems. Using its DPDT configuration, a single relay can control two independent circuits at the same time. When a low-voltage signal is detected, the contacts of the relay react and switch the high-voltage circuit to control the activation or deactivation of heating or cooling systems. The system works more efficiently, and high-voltage components are not damaged or put in unsafe conditions.
