Description
The Resideo Y8610U6006 Intermittent Pilot Retrofit Kit should be utilized to upgrade and enhance the pilot ignition system on gas-fired HVAC devices. This kit works with both natural gas and LPG which makes it ideal for use in several heating needs. It runs at 60 Hz electrical rating of 24 VAC to ensure proper ignition of fuel to reduce on fuel consumption. The intermittent pilot ignition system is an improvement over the continuous standing pilot light because it ignites the burner only when needed. This strategy enhances safety, reduces fuel usage and enhances energy utilization efficiency.
