Description
Emerson Climate-White Rodgers 3F11-180 Bimetal Disc Thermostat is a temperature-sensitive control component used to regulate thermal limits in electrical and mechanical circuit. It operates using a bimetal disc that reacts to temperature changes, and switches electrical contact when the preset range of 172188F is reached then returns once condition normalize. It is commonly used in heating equipment, boilers, and air handling assemblies where high-temperature monitoring is required for controlled operation. The thermostat is mounted at a 1/2-inch interface point and is connected within the control circuit to manage temperature-based switching within HVAC systems, during heat-intensive operating cycles.
