Description
The Little Giant 599124 Overflow Safety Switch W/72″ Wire is a liquid level sensor that is installed in HVAC systems and condensate drainage units to prevent water overflow. It is attached to the condensate pan or drain line and has a float or sensor that detects an increase in water levels when the level rises above secure limits, the switch opens its electrical contacts to break the circuit or sound an alarm. It is connected to the control circuit of the unit. In HVAC systems, it allow to prevent water damage by turning off equipment or indicating a fault in the event of a drain problems.
