The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 097815 Pressure Switch is a safety part used to control low pressure in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This particular model has a connection size of 15” and a pressure range of -90 PSI with a set point of 1.5 – 4.5 PSI. The pressure switch controls the pressure of the system and turns off the system when the pressure is lower than the set pressure. This assists in keeping bad effects on the compressor and other parts including the evaporator due to low refrigerant or pressures.
