Description
The Copeland KAKB-011E-CAV-800 is a small semi hermetic reciprocating compressor used for low temperature refrigeration services. It employs a piston configuration that compresses refrigerant vapor, and the process leads to cooling. This compressed refrigerant is then circulated through a closed loop system in HVAC equipment such as coolers, freezers and even walk-in refrigerators. When the refrigerant absorbs heat from the room it is cooling it becomes hot and vaporizes and the process is repeated. This particular compressor has a maximum cooling power of 4360 BTU which makes it ideal for small to medium scale commercial refrigeration systems. It uses single phase power of 208/230 volts and it is compatible with R-404A refrigerant which is environmental friendly compared to the older models. Another advantage of this compressor is that it is efficient. Possessing a cooling efficiency (EER) of up to 3. 8, it can save a lot of energy compared to the older models.
