Description
The Robertshaw 10-227 S1 is a replacement liquid switch sensor for HVAC equipment, measuring 32 x 1.25 x 0.25 Inches. It uses a special liquid metal that conducts electricity when heated above a set temperature. Typically installed with a 1/2 Inch NPT fitting, the 10-227 S1 is used in oil burners and gas valves within HVAC systems. When the temperature reaches its limit (between 80°F and 180°F), the liquid metal e x pands to complete an electrical circuit, signaling the burner or valve to shut down.
