Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 065868 3-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) works with R22 refrigerant. It has 3/8” x 1/2” ports and an ODF Optional Drain Fitting for service-related uses. Depending on the temperature of the evaporator, this TXV regulates the flow of concentrated refrigerant admitted into the evaporator in order to prevent overheating of the evaporator and to improve the cooling process. Accuracy in the management of the flow of refrigerant improves energy utilization, and reduces operating costs, and the longevity of the refrigeration equipment is also improved.
