The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 058248 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential part for controlling the refrigerant flow in HVAC systems such as refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners. Working on the concept of sensing evaporator temperature and controls the refrigerant flow to achieve the better cooling performance. This makes the system to run efficiently and avoid cases where the evaporator is flooded or starved.
