Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 065942 2-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used for R410A refrigerant systems. This TXV has a 3/8” x 1/2” ODF connection and works by controlling the amount of refrigerant flowing to the evaporator coil depending on the superheat requirements. Applied on heating and cooling systems and refrigeration units, it increases performance by ensuring correct and adequate refrigerant pressure and avoiding the existence of liquid inside the compressor. This in turn leads to better energy control, regularity in cooling, and even betetr longevity of the systems in use.
