Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 057410 1-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used for refrigerant control in cooling systems, and refrigeration systems that use R22 refrigerant. It is a HFESC1HC model with 3/8” x 1/2” ODF connections through which the direct expansion refrigerant flows into the evaporator coil. TXVs such as the work on the basis of thermal expansion. A sensing bulb is usually mounted on the outlet of the evaporator and gets the temperature of the refrigerant vapor which is coming out of it.
