Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 063504 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is applicable for HVAC systems with R404A refrigerant and has the ton of 0.5, the connection size of 1/4″ x 1/2. It controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator in order to control the superheat on top of avoiding refrigerant circulation into the compressor section. The advantages include; improved system performance, energy conservation, and the ability to cool the systems better. Especially used in air conditioning and refrigeration purposes, it has a small size suitable for installation in confined areas and has a high degree of resistance to various operating conditions.
